What skills do you possess?
We have best of breed expertise on the complete spectrum of Lotus technologies starting from Formula Language and @Functions, going all the way to C++ APIs. We can handle requirements from simple form design to complex server plugins.
Can you do Web applications?
Most certainly. We have experience in converting Notes based applications to work on Web, creating multi-client applications and creating applications primarily for the web. Our expertise spans the core web technologies including JavaScript, Java, DHTML & CSS, and ability to create best of breed web interfaces.
Can you do non Lotus applications?
We typically do not take up non Lotus applications, unless there is a connection to a Lotus system somewhere in the picture. The reason is simple - we want to be the best in the little world we specialize in and any dilution of focus won't get us there.
How do you rate your skills?
On core Lotus technologies we rate ourselves pretty high. A combination of focus in the marketplace and a team built around this focus has given us skill levels matching the best in the world on Lotus technologies.
Can you custom develop a new application for us?
We certainly can. Custom Developing a new application would require considerable interaction and is best done with some part of it done onsite, unless you have dedicated internal champions who take the lead in gathering user requirements and work with our system analysts to formalize, crystallize these requirements. We can then take you through the design to deploy cycle with considerable value added from our end of the table.
Can you maintain an existing application/suite of applications?
Absolutely. Among the prime targets for offshore outsourcing is existing applications that need maintenance but do not necessarily justify incurring the cost of onsite/internal resources. Maintenance of stable applications can be streamlined to a high degree and results in considerable cost savings without any let up in service to the customer.
Can you remotely administer our system?
We can. We have remote administration tools, besides Lotus Administrator and can administer your servers remotely. We would however suggest that remote admin be an add-on function and that you have an onsite admin, unless you have the smallest of infrastructures (50 clients or less)
Can you provide 1st level user support?
Yes we can. We are not equipped like a call center, but can provide 1st level user support in defined situations.
How do we work given that we are multiple time zones away?
We have the best of breed collaboration tools including screensharing, webconferencing applications, document libraries, discussion forums etc. We create a virtual team by defining the roles in the project upfront and using synchronous (IM, Phone) and asynchronous communications.
What kind of infrastructure do you have at your command?
Lotus servers, clients, Windows, Linux systems, dedicated internet connectivity and phone access to every corner of the world.
How do you handle cultural, political issues in the team?
These are handled by the experienced project managers who typically have international work experience and have handled such situations before.

We use standard quality control processes like unit, functional, system testing besides peer reviews to ensure quality. A well defined test plan is part of every project that we execute.
What kind of software development processes do you have?
Though we do not have formal certification on our software development processes, we have adopted best of breed software processes from Software Development Capability Maturity Model - Integrated (CMM-I) and have defined light processes more suitable for a small organization.
What are your rates?
We do not publish our rates on the web, but can present them to you once we understand your requirements. Our rates would lead to savings of 50%-75% over comparable quality execution out of US/Europe/Japan. We also offer a discount structure based on the quantum and predictability of work given by a client.
What kind of savings can I expect going offshore?
50% - 75% if you are presently using US, Western Europe or Japanese resources. Not inconsiderate savings for economies like Singapore. The beauty is in the quality you get even at such bargain prices.
We want "private label offshoring"? Can you work under our identity?
We are perfectly fine working in the background as your technical team. You may choose to engage us either on a project by project basis or go for a retainer mode for a longer term attractive rate and same resources across projects.
