How is outsourcing carried out?

- Onsite Model: The project will be carried out by a team of professionals from the outsourced partner in the premises of the outsourcing company itself.
- Hybrid Model: This is a blend of offshore and Onsite model where the task will be partly done in the Offshore Development Center and partly in the customer premises.
How are outsourced projects managed?
Usually a project manager will be appointed from either side and they act as a liaison between the two organizations. There will be frequent interactions between them, over web or telephonic conference. Requirements are gathered with clear specifications and timelines for various tasks are also defined. Periodic reviews are scheduled and the progress is monitored at every stage. Onsite presence can also be helpful
