Rate, Rate Structure
Maarga has three types of rates - offshore, short-term onsite and onsite - applicable for work we do depending on where the work is executed. Ofcourse, much of our work is executed offshore, and we have a spectrum of rates for offshore execution depending on the seniority of resource deployed. We ofcourse do not present our rate structure on the web, but can send you the information once we understand the scope of your requirement. Please write to us at info@maargasystems.com for further info.
- We normally quote a range of rates. This indicates that for the same resource we might charge a different rate on different projects. Our typical process in working out the exact rate for a particular project involves the following considerations:
- The duration of the project .. longer the duration, the lower the prices
- Predictability/Even-ness of loading of resources .. a more predictable/even loading implies lower rates. A long project with an even loading throughout the project typically gets the lowest prices. It costs us heavily to move discretionary resources in and out of a project, and a project that needs few people this month and a lot of people next month costs us more than a project that consistently need few people over long periods.
- Total effort/size of the project .. the bigger the project, the lower the rates.
- Given that as a growing organization, we are always in need of cash, our focus is on reasonable pricing and prompt payments. We seek to price ourselves competitively, but are very keen on having a small receivables cycle (typically no more than 15 days).
- For very large, consistent engagements (say 10 people or more consistently engaged), we can offer further discounts on this pricing structure.
- If you desire us to acquire skills not present inhouse, say Translation/Graphic Design, we can get the same from our local talent rich market here and present the rates to you as required.
